oh fashion!

how did this come about: i felt bored being in fashion.
work experience started on monday
it was less friendly than i hope
but more friendly than i expected.

basically i've done
steaming, folding, hanging.
pricing, putting clothes in order.
excel.
renaming photoshoots.
washing dishes, hah.

it wasn't the things i had to do that bothers me
it's how when i've finished one task, there just dont seem to be anything else to do
they always seem to have to think of something for me to do

reason? they hired 3 interns including me. when theres only like 6 people working there.

though i seriously ultimately give thanks to god and my employer for letting me work in a fashion agency (instead of target)
i wish im the only intern in the agency
sigh.

after two days of feeling i'm failing
i felt that i should show up in a smarter and rather enthusiastic impression
so i get given more tasks.
idk, wish that would work.

and one big thing: i need to be more sociable.

this is the name the majority of hong kong population give to mainland chinese
i think we're not supposed to call them 大陸人... according to my mom.
but they are called mainland chinese... which actually translates to 大陸人...idk.

anyways, til last year, i still had this sense of inferiority for our ''brothers'' and ''sisters'', no matter how rich they are, how many lv bags they have, they tend to look cheaper
like how paris hilton tend to look skanky no matter what she wears

after the olympics, i saw this program on tv on the ''modern'' beijing, the soho, the younger side
and now im seing some other perspective on it

which is how i started being interested in vogue china. true, as i recall from shiying, the cover is invaded with massive chinese characters, the VOGUE is squashed into a rather weird standard.

but i must say that the photoshoot is quite impressive. thou not yet as good as vogue nippon but i am determined to buy one when it comes to me :)

my mom often complain that i buy too much tshirts
but i seriously have a thing for that
a tshirt is so simple yet it is the most comfortable and all around item
bonus you can play around with it in too many different ways

think awang's T collection, he has everything from a simple vneck to a tshirt dress
i wish i can get the entire collection

think UT, the graphics and designs are just so cute
and cheap. i got at least 5 last year :P

think american apparel, the variety of colors they provide is like showing you the pantone system. excuse the horny photos.

and this brings me to introduce complex geometries
recently i've been very very very into comfortable fashion
im getting a little sick of high waisted skirts as they go around your waist like tight glad wrap
or high heels which are too inevitable.
annddd complex geometries is just like disneyland for me: dream. come. true :D
it has recently collaberate with JAK & JIL to create the white tee project

i might as well still am in love with you

i was never too fascinated with the boyfriend style last year
i was still wearing the normal tshirts , all femme fitted
a week before we offically started going out
i walked into a uniqlo store casually just to kill time before my dance session
and there was that massive UT season
i found nothing in the girls section so i went check out the boys section
and thats the time when i decided to get him the green sheep tshirt
i took the shirt home happily and put it on
wondering whether he'll like, whether he'll look good in it
but i kept it, because we hadnt even started going out at that time
so i wore it another day and got addicted to it
and kept wondering when he'll get the chance to borrow a top from me
and i'll just give him that
hahah i dont know wht im talking about
but i was just wondering when did i first started liking oversized tshirts.

sweet 16

i wish i can have my sweet 16 spent in a concert. obviously it's not possible.

but i will have my birthday spent in a concert, one day.
but i wonder when the opportunity will come again...
